AlignmentStick provides a task accountability and operations software platform for teams. This policy explains how we handle your information.

#1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate the Service reliably.

Account InformationName, email address, role (Manager/Employee), and organization association.
Task & Usage DataTasks created/assigned, timestamps, status changes, notes, and manager approvals.
Photos & AttachmentsProof of completion photos (used solely for verification).
Device DataDevice type, OS, app version, and IP address (for security diagnostics).

#2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and operate the AlignmentStick platform.
  • Authenticate users and manage secure access.
  • Display tasks, submissions, and completion status.
  • Enable manager review and accountability.
  • Improve performance, reliability, and security.

We do not sell personal data.

#3. Data Storage & Infrastructure

AlignmentStick uses Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage) to store and process data securely.

  • All data is scoped to the organization or team that owns it.
  • Access is controlled by role-based permissions.
  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest where supported.

#4. Photo Retention

Photos uploaded as proof of task completion may be retained only as long as operationally necessary or deleted after a limited retention period, depending on organization configuration.

#5. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

  • The organization or team the user belongs to.
  • Service providers required to operate the platform (e.g., Firebase).

We do not share data with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.

#6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect user information, including secure authentication, role-based access control, and organization-scoped data isolation.

#7. User Rights & Access

Users may access their own account information or request corrections/deactivation through their organization’s administrator.

#8. Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data and account.

  • Employees/Team Members: Please contact your organization's Manager or Administrator to have your account and associated data removed from the team's AlignmentStick workspace.
  • Organization Admins: To delete your organization's entire workspace and all associated data, please contact us directly at alignmentstick@gmail.com.

Note: Deleting your account will remove your access to the platform and permanently delete your personal information, though some operational data (like completed tasks) may be retained by your organization for compliance and record-keeping purposes as determined by them.
